Colours of Ostrava 2023 Going on Hydrogen

The Moravian-Silesian Region, in collaboration with the Moravian-Silesian Hydrogen Cluster, provided a hydrogen generator that ecologically powered the merchandise booth throughout the entire Colors of Ostrava music festival. People had the opportunity to personally acquaint themselves with hydrogen, which was used not only by the festival participants, but also by the Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Martin Kupka. The future is based on innovation.

The Colours of Ostrava festival also included the largest speaker forum in Europe – the Ostrava MeltingPot. On Saturday, 22 July 2023, the Livingstone Stage hosted the following leading speakers in a special programme slot “Colours and Vocies of Hydrogen” focused exclusively on the development of hydrogen and hydrogen technologies:

  • Jakub Unucka, 1st Deputy Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region,
  • Jan Světlík, Director of Cylinders Holding, a.s.,
  • Daniel Minařík, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Moravian-Silesian Hydrogen Cluster, z.s.,
  • Stanislav Mišák, Director of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies.
